Lifeguard
Masthope Mountain Community
June 2014- Present
Before becoming a lifeguard, I had to attend a week long camp to become Red Cross certified in CPR, AED distribution, oxygen distribution, and waterfront safety. As a lifeguard at Masthope Mountain, my main responsibility is to protect the lives of patrons. I do this by watching over swimmers as well as those out of the water, applying CPR and First Aid treatment when necessary.
Scramble Employee
Masthope Mountain Community
June 2012- September 2012
My main responsibilities while working in the Scramble were to prepare food and work as a cashier. While employed here, I learned some valuable life lessons. I had to deal with unruly customers on a daily basis, and my patience was often tested. I also learned "The customer is always right", a motto that will apply throughout the rest of my life.

Community Service
PSP Palooza
FBLA Community Service Project
November 2014
This year I was a member of my FBLA Chapter's Community Service Team. We decided to hold a fundraiser to raise money for our local police barracks after they were attacked back in September. One man was killed and another was severely injured. On November 22nd, we held a Zumbathon and raised over $2,500 for the families of the victims.
BVM Queen of Peace Church
Kindergarten CCD Teacher Assistant
2012- Present
As a CCD teacher assistant, I help to teach the lessons at our weekly Sunday school. I assist the teacher in whatever way necessary and often find myself in charge of ten squeamish kindergarteners. Volunteering at the Church and seeing the smiles on the children's faces brings me a special type of gratification money cannot buy.
